Installation

Shifters:

    • Use   ¼” longer bolts when mounting shifter to transmission.
    • Use proper size washers when mounting shifter.
    •  Park lock out can be added by simply drilling a hole through guide once
linkage is set and adding a pin.

Gas Pedals:

o    Use   ¼” longer bolts when mounting pedal to transmission.

    • Adjust linkage to when carburetor is full throttle the stop is hitting the pin.

Linkage:

    • If linkage is purchased be sure to use a jam nut to lock rod ends.
    • Linkage provided is longer than needed in most cases, be sure to cut it to
      accommodate your set-up.

Engine Cradles:

o    Use appropriate bolts and washers when mounting cradle to engine.

o    It's always a good idea to chase the threads on your block to ensure
you can get as much bolt contact as possible when mounting cradle.
Be sure to use longer bolts to accommodate the thickness of the cradle

o    All cradles are built on an engine block however due to the slight variances
in engine. blocks some minor filing may be necessary.

o    Wait to  tighten bolts until all of the mounting bolts are installed.
This will help with the installation.

o    Install lower mounts on cradle and lower cradle and engine into position
and either bolt or weld lower (stock)mounts in. In some cases drivers will put
a plate under lower mount 1/4" to 1/2" to gain some clearance from steering.
